The Abbe condenser and Iris diaphragm are supplied to concentrate and adjust the illumination. A mechanical stage is standard equipment with knobs controlling both axes for easy centering of specimen slides. Features:

Bought it not sure how good it would be. I am a scientist and our "cheap" microscopes would cost 50x the Celestron. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it works very well. This was a gift for my daughter who was very interested in getting a real microscope and she was not disappointed.
