As a 12 yr old who knows almost everything there is to know about dinosaurs, it's high praise that he liked this!

My 9-year old son is a dinosaur and prehistoric animal freak. I think he can tell you more about the anatomy and habitat of each dinosaur than any graduate student. I bought the movie for his birthday. He was excited about it and loved the movie. I enjoyed watching this documentary with him as we discussed the various anatomical advantages of each animal.
My only beef with the Clash of the Dinosaurs is the repitition within the movie. Scenes and information are repeated over and over. I feel like I am only getting half the movie I paid for. Several times, when we tried to go back to where we had left off earlier, we would pull up a scene, it would start off like the same as other scenes and we would have to jump around and play it through to find that point in the movie left earlier. Otherwise, the movie was great. My son liked it better than Dinosaur Revolution due to the explanation of the anatomy. The repitition, though,knocked a full star off the rating. I'll give it 3-1/2 stars. Could have been 4-1/2.

This one was really "on the line". I gave it four stars instead of three simply for the fact that the way the dinosaurs are rendered is nothing short of BEAUTIFUL! The movement of the flesh with the rendered textures is the best I've seen since WALKING WITH DINOSAURS. The real drawback to this program is the repetativeness. There are not enough "shots" to occupy the time frame of the program. You'll be forced to watch the same scenes(though they are wonderful!) over and over and over. The creators either needed to shorten the program or create more scenes. It's a shame that it was put out like this since it has some truly wonderful graphics!
I'd recomend it for any "dino-enthusiast" or anyone with a LONG attention span. The lack of fresh graphic material really starts to wear on you rather quickly.

to me, this is just a few episodes with the same 7 clips, ran over and over and over again.. they'll make an hour long ep with the same 4 clips, just shown in different lighting and sometimes they'll even mirror the image... a LOT of laziness on the CG department on this one... im sorry i wasted my [$] at [...] and if i can, ill return this.

My son who is 9 loves anything that has to do with Dinosaurs. He is Autistic and this is just one of his things. This was a gift for him. It even calms him down when he gets upset about anything. The best purchase I have made in a long time. Can't wait until prehistoric arrives!

This dvd is very interesting. Young and old love it and children enjoy talking about their favorite parts of the movie. The fact that dinosaurs where real, children become fascinated by what scienist have found and what scienist have proven how dinosaurs lived. This is a wonderful family movie collection.

Stunning photography of the physiology of dinosaurs which was very good! Also, several prominent paleontologists were featured. Discovery Channel should have asked a few paleontologists to use more appropriate examples of the biting power of T-REX in Perfect Predators than eating lawyers, or kids! Remember,families and many different folks will be watching a program like this!

I really enjoyed the DVD. Very informative and the graphic design of the dinosaurs was great. Just wish there were more dinosaurs being reviewed and more scenes rather than showing some of the same scenes over and over.

My grandsons, ages 3 and 6, can't get enough of dinosaurs, and they love this DVD. I like that they're actually learning about dinosaurs when they watch it.
