Pretty glass but the first time I washed them, all the lettering started washing off. I do like the thickness of the glass. Doesn't break easily. Love the crab etched in it.

Packaging was top notch.. The box would have had to be run over to damage the glasses..Be aware there is an extra protective wrapping that was not easily seen and showed itself after being put through the dishwasher. After a soak in warm water it was peelable and the glasses are usable..

the design is attractive but not durable, washes off easily. Quality of glass is not high either.

These glasses are "coated" in some sort of thin plastic. I didn't notice it until I was washing them prior to their first use. The plastic sort of melted in the hot, soapy water I was using. I had to peal it off both glasses.
I rather imagine it is part of the process of putting the images on the glasses. But I haven't ever had to do this with any other glasses we have purchased elsewhere.
The glasses are great, just be sure to wash them before you use them to avoid the possibility of swallowing the plastic coating.

We love watching the Deadliest Catch series. We even took a tour on one of their retired fishing vessel while vacationing in Ketchican, AK. I went to their website brousing around and saw this glasses. I collect pint drinking glasses, so I had to have it. Received it and love it. Cheers to the men of the Bering sea.

I gave the glass as a gift to my wife, who is a huge fan of the show. She loved it, but because there's no warning (other than this review) against it, she put the glass in the dishwasher. In a single washing, a lot of the clear film that protects the design peeled away. The design has held up so far, but it's probably just a matter of time. So be warned. Other than this it's a great gift.

I like the size of the glasses and the design on them, however, they look cheeply make and they appear to be all scratched up. I am a little embarassed to be giving them as a gift since they appear to have been previously used. I expected the design to looked a little worn since that is the style, but the glass itself is scratched and worn as well.
