Rating based on slow delivery-3 months is too long! Video then shipped to wrong address; it did finally get shipped to correct address. Customer service very polite but cannot do much to help. Be aware that "sale" items on website may be back ordered-you won't know until order is complete & don't believe estimated fulfillment date. If you are not in a hurry, you will be satisfied. Video content is very interesting!

My son loves these videos. I enjoy wathing them too.
the only downside is the segments are on the short side, but this is probably the perfect length for a k-5th grader.

Gave seasons 1/2 and seasons 3/4 to my mom and her husband as a Christmas present. They LOVE the dvd's - my mom is amazed at how many things have someone in the process doing something by hand, and that everything isn't as machine automated as she thought.

This is my grandson's (and one of my) favorite shows. Always intriguing and entertaining. A must for anyone who loves to know how things are made.

I and my mom and family love this show on tv and I was really excited to see it on DVD on here for sale. My mom loves it and has been wanting the DVD to take in where she goes for work and services. So got it for her Christmas :D It's a great show for any age. My grandpa also likes to watch it as does my grandma so I say it's great for any age. It's very informative and interesting. I was really happy with the time it took for it to get here. It got here within 2-3 days after it had been sent out. :D

The original series was great and was what I was expecting to find on the DVD. Instead the DVD has the "Americanised" shows - sliced and diced with proper metric measures replaced by pounds (what is the standard for that?) and Farenheit (an alcohol-based measurement scale). The intro has been changed to be able to add more commercials, and the end credits play over the last segment.

The over-all script has been copied and dubbed with a different narrator.

If it had been the original shows on the DVD I would have given it five stars.

It's just like what you see on TV. It's the American/USA version with same episodes and voice as you see on Discovery/Science Channels. Jam-packed with tons and tons of episodes on 5 DVDs, it teaches you so much in such a simplified manner. It's about time they put this show on DVD and I cannot wait until they produce more!

This series is phenomenal! Not only does it give some history behind each product, but it takes the viewer step by step through the process of how each item is made. It is a favorite in our home.

This product was purchased so that our children & we could learn while watching TV, instead of just being inanimate vegetables. This will also be used as a home school supplement. This series truly fits the bill! It's excellent!

As a parent, having material to reinforce the education of my children and the other young kids in the family and neighborhood, these videos are nothing short of great. "How Its Made" is a must watch. It should be required for Science, Engineering & Management Majors in College!

If you've seen this show on tv, then you know that the only fault here is that they only offer seasons 1 and 2. If you haven't seen it, then check out the previews. I would recommend this to anyone.
