I really enjoyed these DVD's and hope that you will obtain gun camera action from WW2 on P-38's and the rest, both black and white and color. I was a projectionist for the ROTC at college in 1953-1957( 16 mm film) and I saw hours and hours of good gun camera action! I think making discs from these gun cameras without too much narration(or simply printing from what plane) would really give us great entertainment!!I bought the Discovery gun camera action with narration and way to repetitive and not near as interesting as the many many spools of gun action I ran at college.

I have been unable to review all the DVD's included yet in my purchase but so far I am extremely impressed with the documented footage and stories of the brave men I have seen. My favorite so far is the DVD P51 Mustang fights. This is a great educational and entertaining history lesson which reminds me how lucky I am to have veterans like those depicted fight so brilliantly for many freedoms my family and I enjoy today. GREAT BUY!!

I have been an aviation buff for about 30 yrs now. I am not a pilot but I do enjoy all things aviation, esp. military. DOGFIGHTS is an excellent program and I have enjoyed watching all the episodes that have been produced. I do hope that additional programs of this variety are in the works to be produced. I do hope that DOGFIGHTS will continue to be shown on television and I do greatly enjoy the story lines.

I bought Season Two first - a masterpiece..... Season One is also a masterpiece. I am not a watcher of traditional television any more.. mostly a history buff. This work expertly brings history alive.
The interviews with the actual warriors are extraordinarily beneficial to understanding the underlying context of the operations.
Superb on all fronts!!!

TERRIFIC PIECE OF VIDEO WHICH BRINGS THE VIEWER RIGHT INTO THE WWII COCKPIT OF AMERICA'S BEST & BRIGHTEST FIGHTERS AND PILOTS. THE CGI GRAPHICS ARE REMARKABLE, AND SHOULD BE REQUIRED VIEWING FOR ALL BURGEONING FIGHTER PILOTS - AND ANYONE INTERESTED IN THE GREAT CRUSADE THAT WAS WWII. WHAT THESE GUYS WENT THROUGH CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS UNBELIEVABLE, AND I FEAR WE SHALL NEVER SEE THEIR KIND AGAIN. THEY WERE TRULY " THE GREATEST GENERATION ".

Season 2 was even better than the first but hey it's all good and I recommend it to anyone who is an aviation enthusaist. The interviews with the pilots who flew the missions are just the gravy needed to top it off. Great DVDs and I hope there is a Season 3.

Once again,the History Channel delivers with Dog Fights,season 2,the only regret I have with it,is it should have had more Dog Fights form WWII.The Dog Fights of Desert Storm and Dog Fights of the future were pertty lame."My computer lines up the shot at 20 miles away,I press the trigger,my radar comfirms,splash one!"Lame,other than that,it was ok.Maybe in DF3,you'll go back to the WWI&WWII pilots which pioneer the Dog Fight,because there were so many.

This show was the best program The History Channel ever had on. No show has not just told the stories by the men that flew the missions, it also Showed the stories as they unfolded with computer animation. This show will put you on the edge of the seat as you feel the twist and turns of the dogfight. You are "In the cockpit" as these heroes tell their stories. A must for a History buffs Collection!

This series gives you great facts about the battle in the episode. It also gives you an action-packed virtual reenactment of the battle, very entertaining and educational. This series is defininely worth every penny of the purchase.
