As an old "Chopper Guy" from the 60's, this is an incredible film. I read about it in the "Chop Cult" blog. It should be shown and not hidden.

A great job by Jesse James. He is a talented fabricator in his own right and pays hommage to the pioneers who came before him. No forced/fake 'reality tv' dramatical nonsense that ruined other motorcycle based programs. Just a well put together trip through time with some of the characters that were responsible for kick starting the whole chopper movement.

It would have been nice to include other builders (eg: Ron Finch, Denver Mullins)and chopper clubs who were also there in the beginning, but overall Jesse hits the mark.

It is also a little light on details of some of the individual bikes themselves, showing more riding sequences rather than close up views. It is too bad this couldn't be a series of episodes instead of a one off, one hour show. There's a wealth of sub-culture that could be explored here.

Jesse James provides the world with the truth of the birth of the chopper business. AEE Choppers and guys like Tom McMullen and Sugar Bear didn't invent choppers but they brought it to the masses.
I know, I was there, I worked for AEE.

I thought the show was awsome and Jesse did a great job reintroducing some of the great bike builders of the 70s. Its great to see John Harmans partner, Bill Holland, is bringing back an updated model of the original girder they made in the 70s.

Jesse and the Discovery Channel did a great job here! This movie is full of very rich content, much of which I personally know to be true. After watching this dvd I found Bill Holland and Bob Mitchell at the Executive Choppers shop in Roseville California and had them make a frame and front end for me. Thanks.

I saw the program on television and really enjoyed it, but when I found out it was available on DVD I just had to buy it for my motorcycle enthusiasts birthday.

This is by far the best documentary on choppers and bike culture Ive seen in a long time. Even though he probably isnt the first, I greatly appreciate Jesse James venturing into how blacks have influenced chopper culture. I highly recommend this product even if youre not a big motorcycle enthusiast.

I am into motorcycles so anything about or on bikes is good with me. I am a fan of Jesse James and have all his DVDs. The thing I enjoyed about this DVD was it captured a lot of people I have never even heard of. Now I am not new to two wheels, I have been riding since I was a child. Im 38 now. I believe "they did an excellent job of describing the passion that people have that enjoy the sensation of riding a bike.
