Join Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman as they debunk, decode and demystify pop culture's most baffling urban myths and legends. Using modern-day science, they put each myth to the test, separating the real from the really out there.
If you fill a football with helium, can you kick it higher and throw it farther than one filled with regular air? To test this Sunday superstition, Adam and Jamie head to a humungous hangar at NASA's Moffet Field, where, with the help of a throwing machine, they hurl hundreds of Hail Marys to test if hang time really is higher with helium. Plus, Kari, Tory and Grant try to determine if the average set of choppers is strong enough to 'bite the bullet.'
