Bought these for my son (age 11), but ended up watching them as much as he does. Even though we've seen some of them live on Discovery Channel, they're still entertaining to see again. And as always, the Mythbusters provide great learning opportunities for kids and adults alike!

We love MythBusters and were very excited when the DVDs were delivered. Unfortunately, no matter what we tried (including half a dozen calls to the Discovery Store), we were not able to bring up the English subtitles that we were told (more than once) were available. We were very disappointed that the subtitles weren't available and had to return the DVDs to Discovery. Since a member of the family has profound hearing loss, the show is unwatchable without the subtitles. The missing subtitles was the only issue we had with the product.

My wife and I are avid fans of the Mythbusters and we owned season 1 and 2 from when we bought it at a local Discovery Store (that regrettably went out of business long ago). So when we receive season 6 as a gift for Christmas, we were ecstatic. We hadn't realized that the other seasons were for sale... However, to our horror the DVDs had flaws in them, not a scratch on the disc but on each DVD, half way thru, many episodes failed to play, or became choppy and un-viewable or the audio would disappear. We thankfully were able to get a replacement without issue, but once again it had flaws, but in differnt places on the DVDs. The Discovery store let us keep the first broken copy so now if we swap DVDs we can manage to watch most shows uninterrupted. Not giving up hope we decided to order Season 3 for us and Season 1 and 2 as a present for my Brother-in-law. I now lost hope; Season 3 has an entire DVD that can't be viewed, a third of the season I can't view. I will be sending it back as soon as I learn if Season 1 and 2 are viewable from my Brother-in-law. Fortunately my sister already confirmed her "Toddler in Tiaras" works. If the replacement for Season 3 has any flaws I will not bother with another replacement, just a refund and I will not purchase from Discovery again. I have warned my friends and family of the poor DVD quality that Discovery is dumping on their customers, at least for Mythbusters. I don't want some half-hearted apology, I want Discovery to clear its stock of Mythbusters DVDS that are clearly suffering from a systematic failure in the production process, and I want to view my favorite show without all of a sudden having it interrupted with so much interference that I have to either skip the episode or move to the next DVD (that I pray won't have the same failures). I would recommend the show to anyone as it is perfect, but not buying the DVDs cause they are overpriced Frisbees.

My son really enjoys the way Adam, Jamie, and the gang go to great lengths to find answers to the how or why behind each myth. He has collected all seasons, and watches them often.

Enjoyable and fun to watch. I purchased the 1-6 season set. Season 3 came as a six disc set. The first 3 discs are a reapeat of season 2 with the exception of two episodes. The remaing 3 discs are season 3. when Season 3 is a seaparate purchase, it comes as a 3 disc set per the discovery store description. Confusing?? I can't complain about getting more but it is confusing. The "Build Team" is given more freedom to cause their own mayhem as Adam and Jamie continue to make things explode and fly apart. A fun watch! No matter how many discs you get in the set.

I've loved Mythbusters since it first came on the air. This season has several great episodes: especially the Salsa escape episode. I also love the fact that DVD episodes have some extended scenes that weren't shown on TV, which gives you another reason to buy the DVDs.

Our entire family loves the Mythbusters. I sometimes find their tests somewhat disgusting, but those are usually the parts my husband and son love the most. The amount of science included in each episode is great, especially the fact that it isn't glossed over! They don't skip the math, or the failures, or the "How could we be so wrong?" parts.

Kids enjoy watching these shows over and over. They don't even realize they are learning. Keep it up MYTHBUSTERS! We love you all....

This is excellent, great fun. Lots of mucking around, but lots of serious and interesting science. Extremely cleaver and at times amazing. Love all the Physics and fun myths they investigate. These guys are extremely tallented and experienced in their field.

How come this has all of the episodes from season 2 as well, i.e. the ones on the Season 1 Part 2 Box Set?
