1. Disturbing the Peace:
Paranormal Investigators, Brad and Barry Klinge bring their Everyday Paranormal team to two Louisiana landmarks, notorious for alleged paranormal activity. They begin by investigating the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, where legends were born and some say they never truly left. During their investigation, the team identifies a hotspot by the side of the stage where they capture a clear electronic voice phenomenon or EVP saying, "They saw the light!" To Brad and Barry, this disembodied voice seems to be responding to their presence. They begin to consider that spirits from Shreveport's glory days may still be existing, but in a parallel dimension. In hopes of understanding the activity and ways of collecting more evidence, the Klinges consult with an astrophysicist who specializes in parallel universe theory. Brad then devises a rocking experiment to bring the building back to life. He calls this experiment, Era Cues. But when the dormant spirits are awoken, there may be consequences. The team then moves on to the Myrtles Plantation — known as America's most haunted home. Myrtles' history is far darker; one steeped in slavery, disease and death. During previous investigations at Myrtles, the Ghost Lab team captured a shadowy apparition and a possible Civil War era EVP stating, "Colonel, aren't you afraid?" From past evidence, they know that Myrtles is haunted so it's the perfect places to test their developing Era Cues theory. During their initial walk through, Brad and Barry are stunned to capture a rare Audible Voice Phenomenon that sounds like a child. And as they delve deeper into the history, they hone in on the Civil War era as the period when the energies at Myrtles were at their highest. So, with the help of a Civil War historian, the team devises a Voice Looping experiment to cue spirits from the era "¦ and the results are chilling.
Brothers, Brad and Barry Klinge bring the Ghost Lab to Tombstone, Arizona, the town where Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday had their famous shootout in the OK Corral back in the 1800's. According to witness testimony, spirits from the Wild West days may still be walking the streets of this ghost town. Brad and Barry head there to find out the truth and uncover both the history and the science behind the haunting. They begin the investigation at The Birdcage Theater. Back in the day it served as a brothel, a gambling hall and a saloon. The patrons of the Birdcage are far more respectable these days but according to the shop manager who works there now, a spirit named "Jake" may be haunting the building. During their investigation of the Birdcage, the team captures an electronic voice phenomena that seems to say the word "choose". Brad and Barry also have an unexplained personal experience with a reportedly disconnected speaker that squawks in direct response to the brothers' provocation. After feeling that hat they've established a haunting, the brothers set out to find out why the activity is happening in Tombstone. A tour of the inactive silver mines that snake beneath the town reveals that the mines are still filled with silver. Since the Klinge's believe that spirits manifest as energy, the brothers develop a theory that the silver combined with lightning storms common to Arizona may super charge the town with energy, therefore increasing the chances of paranormal activity. Their theory seems to pan out when the team captures another EVP in the Crystal Palace, which was one of Doc Holliday's favorite saloons. But things get even more interesting when the team sets up the Ghost Lab in Boothill Graveyard. Shadowman sightings are common at Boothill but never has one been captured on film. That is, until Brad and Barry supposedly catch one in their electronic net!
3. Smell of Fear:
The Klinge Brothers and the Ghost Lab team investigate a pair of alleged paranormal hotspots to study the relationship between fear and paranormal activity. Their first stop is the Liar's Club; a good time dive bar in Chicago, IL. Patrons and employees have reported apparitions, touching and feelings of being watched. As the team learns, there have been three murders in the building that have all been in the same room and all in the same corner! Could the haunting be related to these murders? Or more disturbing still, could a paranormal entity be causing the denizens of the Liar's Club to kill? In speaking to Parapsychologist, Dr. Pamela Heath, the brothers learn about imprinting, wherein traumatic memories can implant themselves into a building, and resonance where an individual can internalize these dark memories to possibly tragic results. To test these theories and to find out if exposure to the room where the murders took place has an impact on the team members, Brad brings in a biofeedback monitor called the Bio-Cam. After establishing baseline readings off-site for Steve Hock and Katie, they settle into the "murder room' to determine if the Bio-Cam records any significant changes. Meanwhile, Brad and Barry investigate the third floor apartment where an apparition was seen. As the Bio-Cam experience continues, a dark presence comes over both subjects. At the same time, Brad and Barry hear a rapping on the upstairs window, which they are able to debunk. Back in the 'murder room' Brad conducts an experiment of his own to see if he can imprint negative emotions into the room. The second location is the Mortuary in New Orleans, which is a former funeral home that now hosts a terrifying haunted house attraction. Witnesses have reported experiences with a girl named Sarah who may have died in the building after Katrina. For the team, it's the perfect location to study the relationship between fear and paranormal activity. After a harrowing experience with a door, Brad and Barry enlist four team members to face their fears in the basement to see if elevated fear levels correlate with elevated paranormal activity. The investigation that follows seems to bring Barry into contact with a spirit who does not want him around.
