This is an informative NASA story and very thorough from choosing a crew for a trip to Mars to landing on Mars and returning to Earth. Every episode interesting and informative. Going to Mars won't be as easy living on the moon.

            Comments about this product:

Going 2 Mars as well as space travel is incredibly tough and dangerous. With the current Tech and funding on Nasa's part, do we really think this will happen on Nasa's timetable??? Maybe if this was those shows like Star Trek or Star Wars then maybe Nasa might be on 2 something, but not now. Lets look @ the current economy, as well as future ones, with inflation on the rise we my not see Nasa get enough $$$$$ to create a safe mission. If space travel gets privatized then the same thing will occur (if it costs allot to do space travel) only the people who can afford the costs will get to go and everybody else can stay on earth and wait to die when the world ends (just like in the roland emmerich movie 2012). Other than that Mars Rising looks great!!

              Comments about this product:

This is extremely well done. Ever since I saw it aired on Science Channel I knew I wanted it. It stirs the imagination about future human space exploration and possible colonization of Mars.

Captivating, exciting, for anyone out there interested in the topic of human exploration of other worlds.
