Loved the bobblehead itself, my only problem was with the state the box made its way to me. The box of the bobblehead had been crushed and torned. This of itself isn't a big deal except when it's for a gift, it looks bad. I asked that they be replaced and the Discovery Store was more than nice about it.
Since the outside box was in great shape, I'm not sure where teh damage occured. WOndering if it was damaged before it even left the warehouse.
Bottom line is that I love the bobblehead but I have serious doubt about either the Discovery warehouse or DHL (The delivery company).

Actually looks like Adam. Very funny! Had to glue the feet to the base as the Adam figure came off when I took it out of the packaging. Only has three phrases and it is difficult to hear what he is saying sometimes due to distortion.

I got mine at the Behind the Myths tour. I was really excited until I pushed the button and it didn't talk! When I tried to open the battery compartment to investigate, the screw head got messed up/bent. This made it impossible to turn the screw to get the batteries out.
It is still a awesome bobble head, but mine won't talk.

It looks great and is very heavy/solid. The sound quality is not good and it is not Adam Savage's voice. They have about a billion hours of tape of his voice, why didn't they just use his voice?
The batteries eventually worked after taking them out an turning them around. The button that activates the voice is really cheap and flimsy.

Just wanted to point out that when I got my bobblehead, Adam's head was rubbing on the rocket cone and so the head didn't bobble very well. I was able to bend the head forward a bit and now all is well.
Pretty cool product in any case. And Hyneman's bobblehead doesn't have this problem.
