This is the 3rd and final part of the present Storm Chasers DVD set and just as thrilling for my son who is an avid Weather Channel and Discovery Channel viewer. Parents should remind their children that what these people do, they are first and foremost PROFESSIONALS, so they are well trained to chase after storms. Storm chasing may look fun, but it is actually a dangerous job, just as these videos will show. Talk to your children to make sure they understand this is reality and not "made for television."

I've been fascinated with Meteorology nearly all my life, and with severe weather in general since I was born in and lived half my life in Tornado Alley. I've only seen one actual tornado, likely an EF0, in the sky/ground, that wasn't on film or dvd. It looked like a dark-grey rainbow, shape-wise.

I bought this for my grandson Age 9. He loves them and watches them over along with his friends and family. It is very intense and entertaining. I would recommend Storm Chasers to anyone.

What a great season! So much excitement and success! After such a thrill ride as Season 3 gave us, I hope that we'll see a "Season 4" this fall. Congratulations to all involved in this project. Thanks for the wonderful peek into the lives of storm chasers and the tornadoes they catch on film for us to enjoy.

It's one of those shows you just can't stop watching. I actually gifted this to my boyfriend (future meteorologist) because he loved it so much. I've seen most of season 2, and am not sure if this gift was more for him or me. It's very informative. It is great for those who wish to observe nature without being caught in it. If you are fascinated with weather, you will enjoy this season.

I knew I wouldn't be getting an accurate portrayal of storm chasing from watching the series, but it's almost as if they gave up on season 3. I'm not looking forward to season 4. The driving, generic metal/rock that was supposed to add tension and excitement got on my nerves. They seemed to get right up next to a tornado every episode with lots of yelling and frantic camera shots. I understand things should be exciting, but I enjoyed even the bust days from season 1 and the slower pace. The Greensburg callout by Sean, and the damage assessment the next day with Tim Marshall, were chilling and fantastic TV.

Josh Wurman is heading up Vortex 2, an unprecedented weather research project that could be documented - and instead we get Reed blowing money, flying model planes into tornadoes, and acting selfishly and foolishly. Goshen and Kirksville were two of the more amazing storms in an otherwise lackluster year, and I felt like they were trivialized. Samaras and Laubach seem like nice guys, but their sections seemed like filler material.

Sean's intercept was the high point of this season, with nothing else coming close. This series has gone from interesting pseudo-documentary to some sort of ego-fueling machine for Reed's crew.
