Episode 1- What Goes Around: After dissolving their partnership last year, extreme meteorologist Reed Timmer and chasing partner Joel Taylor are back together in an upgraded Dominator, but a vehicle malfunction threatens to ends their first chase. IMAX filmmaker Sean Casey is putting his team members in new positions, and a power struggle with new navigator Matt could cause him to miss an intercept shot. Engineer Tim Samaras is late to the field, and the next weather pattern has every team struggling to pick the right target.
Episode 2- Why We Chase: The storm of the season is exploding across Mississippi, where trees, hills and heavy population combine to make the deadliest chasing environment in the country. Tracking another storm to the west, Sean and Tim anxiously await bad news as Reed, Joel and Chris alone drive overnight to chase the Mississippi monster. As they spot the 1.75 mile wide EF-4 tornado bearing down on the small town of Yazoo City, their epic chase turns into a race against time to save lives. This storm changes their lives forever.
Episode 3- Back Seat Driver: After facing the worst tornado in his life, Reed pursues a new force of nature in the form of Chicago TV weather woman Ginger Zee. But chasing more than weather leaves business partner and long-time friend Chris out in the cold. Tensions mount in the TIV as Sean struggles to trust science over intuition. As tornadoes suck everyone into the dangerous chase environment of the Ozark Mountains, one long-time chaser calls it quits.
Episode 4- Dedication: Sean finally gives the reigns to his meteorologist-navigator Matt Hughes, who leads the team to their best tornado intercept ever. Then triumph turns to tragedy as Storm Chasers loses one of its own.
Episode 5- Smoke Monster: Sean's team struggles with the death of a teammate, and heightened emotions lead to questionable driving. Reed arms the Dominator with probe cannons, while Tim smokes out a South Dakota monster that just keeps growing, and discovers there's no way out when you're in the path of a perfect storm.
Episode 6- Perfect Storm: South Dakota spins up the twister of the season, and the non-stop tornado action leaves no room for drama.
Episode 7- Twister Twilight Zone: Reed's cannons are locked and loaded, but multiple tornados prove a hard target for an itchy trigger finger. Tim's team chases in the tornado twilight zone, while Sean weathers a storm of controversy.
