Loved this miniseries. Really got an amazing view into the tigers' habitat and routine. Elephant cam was amazing and added so much to a subject that I love but feel is underexposed due to tigers' reclusive nature and dwindling numbers. A must have for anybody that is interested in the subject.

This DVD is fascinating and makes my 1 1/2 miles on the treadmill go by more easily. If I were younger I might go farther, just to keep watching.I will watch it again sitting down, I am sure.

I am a wildlife photographer and I know how difficult it is to get good footage of the Tiger's life. This is a brilliant coverage of the Tiger's life and gives the viewer a great deal of information about a highly endangered animal - certainly the true king of the Indian jungles.

I would recommend this to anyone especially to the wildlife lovers - seeing the Tiger in the wild has become ever so fleeting and having this DVD is a wonderful alternative

Most of us never get to see a Tiger except at Zoos' never in their element and this shows them at home, at a hunt and raising families. I found it delightful, informative and beautiful.

This is cool, but I wouldn't say the best. It simply describes the life of tigers, I gotta say I got a little bored at times because it strictly focuses on tigers growing from a baby to an adult. Yes it is interesting and yes i learned interesting things, but i just think is better when you buy a set where they study a variaty of animals instead of just one type, because too many hours of one animal can be a little boring.

Last week my wife and I saw the first episode of "Tiger: Spy in the Jungle" on the TV. And the second episode was what we really connected with, because we happened to be there on Feb 1, 2007 while their shoot was on! We have a few blurry shots of the scene on our Canon S5, which we've been ogling so long. We failed to notice the spy cams and the elephant-tooth cams, but we saw their bottom-of-the-stick cameras! Hope to see more of them all!
Never ever had we seen four tiger cubs with their mom! What a sight watching them playing and mock-fighting!
Kudos to Discovery & BBC!
Hoping to see more on elephants and rhinos in North-east India on Discovery!

This is, by far, the best tiger documentary in existence and arguably the best big cat documentary I've ever seen. The originality of the way they captured this tigress and her four cubs on film - by creating innovative ways to place cameras all around the den areas as well as on elephants - is the first of its kind, and throughout the documentary, you see the way the entire jungle interacts with each other - tigers, leopards, monkeys, bears, snakes, and so on. I've shown this DVD to numerous friends and family and they're all amazed by it as well. The producers honestly need to do more tiger films just like this - at the end, when you see the tigress again with four more new cubs, it would be sensational for there to be a Part 2 where they follow the lives of these four new cubs for three years as well. In any case, I couldn't recommend this DVD more strongly. Casual viewers to wildlife enthusiasts will all be pleasantly rewarded.

I have never in my life seen a program about tigers that is so well done! The cameras that they use, allow the veiwer to feel like they are watching the tigers from the watering hole in person. This program is absolutly fabulouse! I would recomend this one to anyone!
