In this two-disc set, you ll experience more than six hours of the extreme life that teeters on the edge of civilization, battling the harshest elements of nature in a fight for survival. The tiny outpost of Tanana, Alaska, is a frozen village of 200 people and home to a small band of brothers trying to protect their way of life. But treacherous ice, brutal winters, and deadly animal encounters threaten their income, their food supply, and their very existence. Still, decades of surviving the impossible have left these brothers with thick hides and iron wills.

And it ll take much more than these slippery slopes to scare them away from the only place that they call home. Together as one, they will continue the battle, locking horns with Mother Nature, determined to raise another generation worthy to be called the Yukon Men.

Comments about this product:

I love this show. It seems to be one of the most realistic as far as mixing everyday living in with all the other daily items that are special to Alaska and native village living as well. Things we don't have to deal with in the lower 48,like trapping, hunting, living off the grid, which is being done down here by choice. I hope the show is not cancelled and they will get on the stick and put out the last _6_ episodes along with season 3.... I feel cheated to not enjoy the whole season yet.
